ANB 2.0 - WNN November 30, 2018

Its week 15-16!! This week, I worked on special segment with Maceo. This special segment was about a character name gear brllys finding the remaining turkeys so that he can save them. I acted as Gear Brllys and Maceo was camera. I think this segment was so bad that it was good. My acting was bad but it was funny at the same time. I think our script was good but we had poor planning. I think our audience should just watch and love what we do here in WNN.  I've learned a lot about film making in this class. It's all about time management and they way to plan this film to be made.  Also to know how to use the camera.

ANB 1.0 - WNN November 16, 2018

It's week 13-14 and our 30th episode of WNN. This week, I worked on sport, community, weather, and surf report. I just did some research and did some voiceovers. I also worked on special segment. We did a thanksgiving special of Man on the Street. Dawson and I co-host the segment and we asked thanksgiving questions from the CTE fair. School News is my favorite because I like to find the story and just be apart of the process till the end. Sports, community, weather, and surf report is my least favorite segment because it's all editing and I don't like editing that much. I'm going to produce special segment next week because i've worked on school news for 5 weeks in a row so i'm taking a break. For the final episode, we should do a talk show type thing and I should be host.

ANB 1.0 - WNN November 2, 2018

It's week 12 and episode 29 of WNN. this week, I worked on school news. This week's school news is about test taking strategies and how students can us them. I worked on this episode by myself besides a couple B-roll scenes filmed by Skyler. I think we can get bigger viewership but promoting more in school and outside of school. Also we can do commercials for smaller outside companies so we can promote what they are and we can get benefits out of it. If we meet our deadlines for thursday then we will have a more relaxing friday. We will have a more relaxing friday because we won't have to stress about any segment that we have made and that shows that if we get it done early, we are more in to what we are working on and it can high production.

ANB 6.0 - WNN October 26, 2018

This week, I contributed to WNN by making a story about Pono Market with my partner, Maceo. This story was originally made for PBS Hiki No fall challenge and the story topic was "behind the food" but we also decided to make it a story for WNN as well. This week was a grind for sure. In a normal week of WNN, Mondays is when we write our script and maybe film. Tuesday and Wednesday is when we film and start editing. Thursday is when we complete the story and Friday is when we watch the final product and begin our blog post. The communication between everyone including students and teachers is important because without this, we wouldn't have a story.  With our teacher, he just watches over us to see if we are doing what we need to do.

Week 10 and the beginning of a new quarter!!! This week, Preston and I worked on school news. The story for school news is about how the students of Kapaa High School can use the school's technology properly.  I think that the technology policy is alright. I think students need to take  care of the technology that the school provides. The wifi situation is a little different.  I think if the students had a wifi to connect to, they won't be trying to connect to other wifi around campus.  DMCA or Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a digital rights management law enacted in October 28,1998.  This law was created to update copyright laws to regulate digital material. This effects the broadcast industry because whatever you create, it will get regulated by this law.

ANB 2.0 - WNN September 14, 2018

It's week 6!!! This week, I contributed to school news and special segment. For school news, we did a story about the CTE class. We focused on Public and human services(PHS), Health services, and ACCP. We interviewed 2 students for each class and we made a story about it. For special segment, we did a behind the scenes video but we made it a rave party type edit to it. Dawson made the song and I helped edit it. Virtual and Augmented Reality will impact the broadcast industry because of how new and how advance it is. I personally own a VR headset and I just find it so incredible. You can look all around you and It's just a whole new world you can explore.

ANB 1.0 - WNN September 7, 2018

Week 5 Baby!!! This week, I was on special segment. What we did was we made a rap video for Kauai Shining Stars. They saw our work and asks us if we could do a rap video for their production. For broadcast media, the future is bright. There is so much stuff we can do for the school and maybe for some outside companies as well. We could make short commercials for small companies and air it on WNN or can air WNN everyday live.  Radio, TV, and Internet has to correspond with different audiences and activities because we evolve everyday and when we evolve, we like different things so the whole entertainment industry has to change and adapt to us.
